I slapped on some vinyl, added some paper piecing to sticks & some fake grass. After typing that, I made it sound soo easy when in fact, I have had these tins for about 2 + years now. Eh, better late then never...

Randomly picked something on my Pinterest boards to make for Breakfast. This was quick and easy. The girls made it as I supervised & cleaned up. It consisted of eggs, ham & optional cheese & onions. Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray muffin pan with non stick cooking spray, line with ham, crack in an egg, season with salt n pepper. Into oven for 12 mins (I like my yolk running so next time I will do 11 & continue to take away a minute until I get the egg yolk right for my taste). Remove from oven, sprinkle with shredded cheese & onion...Enjoy!

If this isn't a sign, I don't know what is. My girls & I went to breakfast the other day at IHOP since their teachers are on strike, we are trying to fill our days with fun activities. As we were leaving, I saw these store signs. I parked the car & was ready to make plans... Travel agent right next to CANCUN! We were outta here! I was so close to booking a 4 night vacation cause the kids were going to be back in school on Friday. Unfortunately, we didn't go cause of a rumor that school MIGHT be back in session on Tuesday due to a loop hole...UGH!!!! Needless to say, kids are still home & my butt is not on a beach!!! ERRRRGGGG!!!!!

On a brighter note, my neighbor & I joined a Zumba class. I have NEVER done Zumba before & check out my heart monitor....559calories. WOWZA!!!! Can't wait to see how many calories I burn when I actually know what the heck I am doing.

Valentine conversation hearts

It's a bit early, but with the kids being home, what the heck...we started to decorate for Valentine's Day. They put a cluster of hearts on the storm door, drew some strings & you got balloons...

Then they randomly added hearts to the front windows. My girls thought it was great to decorate but what they didn't realize was, they were cleaning too (my windows sparkle now...)

My "Valentine's Day" yard stake is out front....Love is in the air!

Inside the house is just as "lovely"...pictures to follow.

They were a hit! The kids loved them & my Dad loved his picture.

I have no resolutions this year, no more starting my year off with the anticipation of failure.

2012 will be a year of risks, trial & error with no dead lines, no time frames with ridged consequences.

I took this tray to a party we went to on New Years eve, it was a hit so I thought that I would share the recipe with you. I originally got it off PINTEREST but I tweaked the recipe a bit.

1 bag of nestle semi sweet chocolate morsels

1 8oz brick of Philly cream cheese (softened)

1/2 cup Butter (softened)

1 cup powdered sugar

5 tablespoon brown sugar

1 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

In large bowl, cream together cream cheese & butter. In other bowl mix remain ingredients. Combine the two once well blended, add bag of chocolate chips & fold in.

Refrigerate for 2 hours.

I served with Nilla wafers, graham crackers & ginger snaps.

Baby boy gift & Holiday car decor

A last minute special order for a Baby boy. Used the stackers with a twist, I added decorative papers in the colors of the little boy's new room. If I do say so myself...I really like it.

I am in love with this wreath on the front of this SUV. I am not a wreath person but this...I don't know if it is the intense combo of colors (red/green), the smell of the evergreens or just the fact that I am starting to get into the holiday spirit.

I was overwhelmed last month & didn't get a chance to sport a November doodle decal. I just couldn't find the time or when I did have the time, ADD kicked in & well, I moved on to something else. I am disappointed in myself but lesson learned. I will do I what worked last year, plan them ahead of time.

Thanksgiving Chalkboard Place Cards

Every Thanksgiving, my girls make place cards for their cousins. This year, we decided to make them a bit more fun. The place cards are normally card stock with their name & a few stickers or doodles but we kicked it up a notch...we made everyone a wood plaque - name on one side, chalkboard on the back (kinda like the 80's mullet, business in the front, party in the back). I was going to drill a hole for a chalk holder but I am undecided...I think that will be a game day decision. I can't wait to see them play with these on Turkey day!

I guess you could say that I am going through a bit of a chalkboard phase, although I must say that I have always fancied them. When I decorated my girls playroom, I added an original school chalkboard to one of the walls & we have a huge piece of slate hanging on the fence in our backyard.

Anyway....Wait til you see what I pulled outta my "idea journal" - only one more thing to do but it's a BIGGIE!

Anyone else have a mile long list of things we'd love to get done, make or try? I do! So I have decided once a week I am going to tackle an item on my list (of course I am going to start off small, no sky diving or anything yet).

I'm starting with one from my "idea journal". I love shutters & I need one for this "idea." However, every time I find one it is either too big, too small, not the right shape, you get the idea. So this project gets tossed aside & possibly "undone" forever....UNTIL NOW! Why can't I make one on my own? So I did just that. My best friend has been giving me wood & it's been piling up in my workshop (I know I am SOOO blessed). I was buzzing along taking measurements, cutting wood, sanding wood, painting, sanding again, staining...then it hit me when I was assembling it...NO KNOB!!! no, no, no, not today my friends, I was determined to finish this "forgotten project" & not move it to another "started but unfinished project list" so I did what any logical person would do, I jumped in my vehicle & went across the street to LOWE'S...I know, how lucky am I that I have a Lowe's within walking distance.

SCORE! Not quite the knob I had in mind but it's pretty close...to the drill press....

I quickly whipped up a festive sign & added some wire with ribbon for accent. I'm done! I can't tell you how good it feels to finish something that I started!

A few things that I have been working on...

Chalkboard Vinyl Planner Tutorial

I have been slowly working on this idea in my head but I couldn't put the pieces together so I decided that today is the day that I am gonna stop thinking how to do it & just DO IT!

I don't know about you but I get asked as much as 3 or 4 times a day...what's for dinner? are we going anywhere today? So I needed something that I could write it all down, be clearly visual for all eyes to see & be done with it once & for all----->this is what I came up with!

Please bear with me as my photo skills are not up to par & I am using my phone to capture these steps so I don't miss anything...well, I hope that I don't miss anything.

Step one - MDF Board (cheap inexpensive & already had it on hand) cut to desired shape. You need 7 of these.

Step two - Paint boards color you want. I used black because I am using Black chalkboard vinyl & want the two to blend together. ***Note...if you are using the vinyl opposed to the chalkboard paint you only have to paint the areas of the board that won't be covered by the vinyl...I have OCD so I had to cover the ENTIRE board!***

Step three - Sand the edges. I am crazy about sanding. I don't think anything ruins a wood project more then ROUGH EDGES. It's a personal preference & I like the "I've been around the block" look.

Step four - cut your black vinyl about a 1/4" - 1/2" smaller then your boards. Using a corner rounder from my scrapbook supplies, I clipped each corner (again with the smooth edges nothing sharp). Then adhere chalkboard vinyl to your boards.

Step five - cut the days of the week in another color vinyl & adhere to boards

What it looks like hanging on my column (such a dead space & wow look at the impact).

See what happens when you don't try to plan everything out & just let it happen. Now I need to make larger boards on the other side for my girls to list their chores & upcoming events.

No more lazy summer days & nights but rather lots of running kids around to sporting events, classes, friends houses, the endless list of LIFE. Oh don't get me wrong, I embrace change. Well the summer is over (almost), kids are back in school & I am in disbelief! I feel like I blinked & summer came & went. However, as I have been corrected every time I say that to someone, I must have had a great one cause good times go by fast whereas bad times linger. So I will take my "quick" summer & run with it.

While camping last weekend, my girlfriend was sporting some fabulous flip flops & I just had to make them. Me & my girls went a bit crazy & made Flip flops, headbands, bracelets...thank goodness we ran outta water balloons otherwise, who knows what would have been next!

Went camping over Easter Weekend

Took My girls for a Mani & Pedi

Cousins! Here is 8 of the 15 kids that went Camping. Amazing time, can't wait to do it again! They made a cool craft, did ceramics, had a easter egg hunt, scavenger hunt, fishing, lots of bike riding...let's just say we didn't hear the words "WE ARE BORED!" And there was NO FIGHTING!!! I know unbelieveable right!

Team Mom Softball shirts that I made for me & my girlfriend. Put our favorite #'s on the back...we look official now. Now we just need it to STOP raining so that we can play some games & show off our cool shirts!

Working on Communion party (STILL). This cake is SOOOO good! Hmmm, I feel a craving coming on!

My Dad sold his house (my childhood home) today. So sad. Went there the other night with my BF, had a drink & reminisced about the memories that we made there. Thank you Judy I needed that! Here is my hand print that is in pantry. 20 years ago.

My new skirts

I finally finished my new skirts...actually they use to be sweaters. I am kicking myself for not taking pictures of what they looked like before but here is what they look like now...

here is me wearing one with little rosettes I made with leftover scraps of the sweater.

I didn't realize how much I missed sewing until I finished these. I find it to be such a compliment when people ask where you got your outfit & you get to say---> you made it!

Since that is completed - I now need to start planing a Communion party. Dresses, veils, invitations, hall, caterer, decorations, favors, food, cake & a million other little details. I feel like I am planning a little wedding (thank goodness they are doing it at the same time).

When will I see the sun again?

This weather is killing me. I am so ready for it to be over & it saddens me that there is still another month & 1/2 to go before the weather breaks. So instead of falling into depression that it's FREEZING outside & I haven't seen the sun for days, I ordered my SEASONAL BEACH TAG for the summer. Now that's something to be excited about. Once I get it I think I am just gonna wear it around & show it to people, I'll flip it around like it's my FBI badge---> "I'm heading to the beach, see my tag"; "yeah I see the snow but I'm going to the beach." Now there is a fantastic idea - I'm going to make my own beach, gonna set my beach chair in my living room, turn the heat all the way up & put my bikini on with some sunscreen, lay a beach towel down, ya know set the scene. What do you think the mailman will do if I open up the door in my bikini? Oh & I'll make sure that I flash him my beach tag! He'll understand :)

Any who - I have been working a few orders I have that will be heading out the door. I am really trying to get better with taking pics of all my goodies. I love the saying about the shells in your pocket & sand in your shoes, what a great sign for a beach house.

***Oh thank you very much for all the emails I got regarding the tin pails, my daughter saw them & was smiling from ear to ear. Her friends loved them too! Looks like now I maybe in the party favor biz! ***

Tin Pail Party Favors

My Daughter asked me to make her party favors for her 10th birthday party. Of course I would, then she proceeds to tell me what she wants...oh no, I've created a monster. She seems to think that I can just "WHIP" these things up. Thank goodness she forgot about making chocolate lollipops (She'll remember tomorrow. "Oh sorry honey, they are already wrapped :)". Here are a few of them. Got more to finish. ****However on a good note, I am getting rid of my old patterned paper, I am putting it through the shredder & using it as the base to fill the tin pails up with***

Felt heart tutorial

I normally don't decorate for Valentines day but during my "couch time" I learned how to make felt roses. I made a TON of them. I've made headbands, adorable pony tail holders & added them to various projects I have made. I was at AC MOORE & found a Foam heart, the light bulb went off.

Such an easy project to do, here are the steps. You need 3 1/2 pieces of felt (.29/sheet), Foam heart (1.00), Ribbon (used l/o) & Glue gun with glue sticks (have on hand) - SCISSORS.

Cut felt sheet in half, then into quarters, continue to due so until you have 16 mini sheets of felt.

Clip the corners to make round edges.

using your scissors, cut felt pieces into spirals. make sure you leave a base.

next you want to roll the spiral onto it's self.

Using your glue gun carefully glue spiral to base.

there you have a little felt rose.

dont' get to excited you aren't done yet, you have to make alot of them - 3 1/2 sheets worth of felt.

once they are done, grab your foam heart & start gluing. Starting at the edge.

Once the edge is done, start filling another row of roses.

Poof - your done. Oops it appears I forgot to take a picture of me attaching the ribbon. Simple enough to explain without a visual...cut ribbon to desired length & hot glue to back. For a more finished look, you can purchase another sheet of sheet & trace the foam heart in felt, cut out & hot glue to back. This will cover up the ribbon.

Hope you have as much fun as I did completing this project. Get your kids involved, my girls loved doing this.

I love a good challenge

At a demostration recently, a lady handed me a piece of paper with a saying on it & asked if I could do something with it. It was rather long but I love a good challenge. I told her that I would play with it & see what I could do. I read it & it was beautiful, considering I have two girls of my own, I wanted it for myself so here it is...

Never say you can't do something, try it & if you don't succeed try again. Honestly, the only reason you didn't succeed is, you really didn't want to in the first place. I am training for my first 5K (I know SHOCKING), it was something I always wanted to do but well, thought I couldn't. Well, I'm on my way! New motto for 2011 (but I started it now) - LIFE BEGINS AT THE END OF YOUR COMFORT ZONE! - off to finish the last of my holiday orders...

I hope everyone is recovering from their Turkey Coma! Thank goodness I ran yesterday morning or I would have been very upset with the quantity of food I consumed yesterday. I also hope that those who ventured out into the craziness of BLACK FRIDAY were able get all their *door busters*. Me personally, would rather pay full price then ever do BLACK FRIDAY again so that is why I am inside working on orders rather then shopping. Although, I must say I am looking forward to CYBER MONDAY. I have yet to purchase a thing yet & am getting a bit concerned cause I am normally done by now. Anyways, I have finished my Holiday Doodle decal. This particular one is on my car.

I have a few others as soon as I get enough windows to put them on I will post photos of them.

Here is just a peek at what I have been working on...not to mention getting ready for Thanksgiving & Christmas. Who do I gotta talk to to see if we can move Thanksgiving to say ---- August???? I think I will have enough time to do everything if that were to happen.

Well I must say that I have done things this year that I haven't done in the past,
1) Christmas lights are up (before Thanksgiving)
2) the tree is up (not decorated but still it's up & lit)
3) I've listened to Christmas music (not just in the stores but in my car...oh mi & I was actually singing to it), 4) took my girls to NY to see the Christmas Spectacular (Thank you Karen for inviting us).
I'm not a scrooge or anything, I really do enjoy Christmas but I just feel that Thanksgiving does not get the attention it deserves. The day of the year that we are suppose to express our thankfulness, our gratefulness, our gratitude for people in our lives, our blessings & even our failures.

I've got a lot to be Thankful for. I am grateful for everyone in my life. In the past year, I believe that I have grown into the person I want to be. I hope everyone has a very Happy Thanksgiving! I also hope that you look at your surroundings & think....WOW! I do have a lot to be Thankful for!

I was emailed yesterday if I did car decals/stick families----> The answer is no. I think they are really cute however I have to pass on this challenge. I have quite a few contacts that do in depth stick families/car decals & I will gladly pass you their information. One lady does an amazing job..if you have an idea she has the decal - special forces, detailed clothing, musical instruments, sports, hair detail, facial expressions just to name a few personalized features she can create.

I've been rather busy lately & it just POPPED in my head that I need to make my teacher "thank you" gifts before the end of the year. Well, the end of the year is in a week & a half! Where did the time go, I have accomplished so much & have lots of things brewing. One that I am extremely excited about (no it's not my window panes), it's something BIGGER. well it's the tail end of the weight loss challenge & I needed a push. I decided what a better way then to make myself a journal book that I could record what I eat, my thoughts, exercises, my weight loss records as well as my measurements.

Another wonderful year is ahead of us & I am SO excited. I have big plans & hope that you do to! I received a Poem from a wonderful friend that brought me to tears this morning (doesn't take much LOL).

The Poem is called "The Dash" by Linda Ellis.

I read of a man who stood to speak
At a Funeral of a friend
He referred to the dates on her tombstone
from the beginning to the end.

He noted that first came the date of her birth
And spoke of the following date with tears,
But he said what mattered most of all
was the DASH between those years.

For that dash represents all the time
that she spent alive on Earth
and now only those who loved her
know what that little line is worth.

For it matters not, how much we own,
the cars, the house, the cash,
What matters is how we live and love
And how we spend our dash.

So think about this long and hard;
Are there things you'd like to change?
For you never know how much time is left
that can still be rearranged.

If we could just slow down enough
to consider what's true and real
and always try to understand
the way other people feel.

And be less quick to anger
and show appreciation more

Time Flies~

Summer is almost over & the girls will be back in school. Time is flying by! I had an incredible summer so far so you won't hear any complaining from me. I have received lots of emails asking if I am still around, Yes I am still here & still working (should say slowly working, LOL!!!!) I have had a few shows & have made a few new things but as I said before with time passing so quickly I spend most of the time with my girls. They will be back in school in two weeks & I'll be back to being creative. Lots more to come in September...please check back. I love leaving notes for my hubby, telling him where I am, questions for him, little tokens of affections, etc. However, in the past, whenever I have done this, he never got the message. Why? Because the piece of paper that I wrote on wasn't where I left it, LOST, GONE FOREVER! So, I came up with a solution...I know, I've solved another problem! YEAH, ME!

These can be custom made to suit any need. I am going to have fun making these. I see them in my girls rooms, my office, the kitchen...the places to use these are ENDLESS!

Here are a few things I have been working on & have completed. After the new year I will have a bunch of new projects to post (hopefully, if I get my act together).

I have been dabbling in jewelry making. I have made a few for friends & silly me forgot to take pictures of them. These are my latest creations.

A friend of mine wanted to me make her sign but I decided to make her an album instead. She wanted me to put on the sign the saying her sons say every night before bed. It really meant alot to her. So I thought, hmmmmm, why make it a sign, why not make it an album. Yeah, I know it was a risky decision but I knew she would LOVE the album & guess what...I was RIGHT! She was SOOO happy. I do believe that she had tears in her eyes.

Busy, busy, busy! Went to CKC (creating keepsakes convention) at Valley Forge on the 2nd. Wow, the things I learned - I can't wait to play & create new things. Here is one of the things I made...

This was so fun & easy to make. So glad that I was able to check "make softball album for girls" off my list. I'll put more pictures up once they are completed.

After CKC, we went to the shore & stayed with some friends in Wildwood, NJ. Had an awesome time & took some great photos (I'll share once my album is complete). Thank you so much Mike & Debbie for an incredible vacation!

I had a burst of creative energy. I grabbed a few stamps that I just had to have (but haven't used yet) & a package of paper (another must have).

& AWAY I go...still working on more (will post later) but I wanted to get these up for a "certain" someone who has been on me about my blog not being updated on a daily basis. I sure hope this makes her happy (wink wink)!

I can't seem to get it together. I am a creature of habit, I need a schedule. I try to bend (really I do), but my list doesn't. So I either do it today, or it moves to tomorrow. Sure there are things that I DROP from my to do list, the not so important I can do later things...vacuuming, dusting, you get the picture. I just won't have friends over until it's done.(wink, wink). So my crafting time has been limited. I am getting back into the groove SLOWLY.

here is a tiny peek at my mess...now keep in mind that this is a "TINY" area with a WHOLE LOTTA mess (now, imagine what the rest of the room looks like)...I just want to put it in tote with a cover on it - so I don't have to deal but I will one day so I guess I will do it this weekend. Back to work. I am officially ready for my 1st show tomorrow. I just finished up these signs yesterday. I use to believe that I didn't work well under pressure, I was wrong. I breezed through all the things I needed to complete & didn't have any ADD moments. My house is a mess, laundry isn't done but the kids are clean & feed so the rest doesn't matter. My booth is set up in my great room right now so tomorrow morning I won't be FREAKING out on where to put things. I am going to take photos, print them out & pack them with my totes. Go ahead, say it - I'm Pathetic...I know but I am PATHETICALLY PREPARED.

I originally made this sign at Christmas for a grandmother of one of my best friends. She loved it (so I'm told). This is one of the many sayings that touches my heart. Hence the reason I added the added dimension to the sign with the hearts.

Anyway, I have been working on quite a few orders, gifts & cleaning up a few loose ends. But I am happy to say that I am "ALL" caught up. Actually I am ahead of schedule.

I have been keeping a "happy journal" - Everyday I write a little comment, blurb, story that makes me happy. I was writing in it this morning, I know I had a happy moment already (what can I say I am a happy person) & was taken back by my happy moment from yesterday = here it is...

Went to the food store to get a few things. While at the meat dept,

there was this little old couple (about 80 or so). The little

lady forgot something & sighed, so she turned

& started to walk away from the cart, I assume to

retrieve the item she forgot. Out of no where,

the little man says "run" - the little old lady turns around

& smiles, he smiles back...

It's that the sweetest thing. Still thinking about that melts my heart. To be that old, to be that happy, to be that youthful. This also made me think about my Grandparents, Gran & Pappy. I could see my Pappy saying that to my Gran. God rest their souls...they passed away 10 mos from each other 2 years ago. They were married for 63 years.

I love paper. I love patterned paper, card stock, textured paper, mulberry paper, homemade paper, etc. I also have an OBSESSION with NOTEBOOKS. I could never go high tech, I need a notebook, pen to paper. I need to have a list of things to do, things I need, things to buy, books to read (okay I am a list person too!) Well, to get to the point of my blog today - I have finally MASTERED the way to make my OWN notebooks. Check these out...

I got the most amazing tool - BIND IT ALL. I am in heaven. I am binding everything. (My hubby is worried, last time I went on a frenzy like this it was with eBay & I was listing EVERYTHING for sale, hee hee) Here is another little notebook I made & a scrapbook of my daughter's field day last year (been meaning to scrap but I couldn't find an album I liked - now there is NO stopping me, nothing is off limits). Oh I am so impressed with myself (can you tell) - Oh & the best part is I am using "recycled" items to make these books. I'm going GREEN, doing my part. Well a few more pictures for your enjoyment & then off to the make MORE!!!!

Basket for Bob ------

My neighbor, Bob, passed away suddenly last November. His softball team is sponsoring a beef & beer for the family. What an amazing thing, but I shouldn't be that surprised...Bob was an amazing person. I miss him so. He was one of those people that had a great aura...I mean seriously, he was awesome. Every time I talked to him (which was about everyday), you had a smile on your face or you were laughing at the end of every conversation. He was never angry, never mad, never said a mean thing about anyone...It was an honor to have been touched by such a guy. I had so much fun making this basket. I was stressing myself out about it (ask my friend, Carole, she thinks I'm crazy) so many things going through my head. Never been to a beef & beer before so I emailed my friend, Kristin, what things do you put in the basket? Well, I think I now know why I was FREAKING out....cause it is a "Basket for Bob". I made Bob so nervous when I was in the driveway with the compound miter saw cutting 2 x 4's & such. He would say, "can't you wait for Shane to come home?", "give me 10 mins to run my errands & I'll cut it for you", oh I could go on & on...but he was so funny with all his comments, he was so worried about me. He would be laugh at me cutting the grass, fighting with the weed wacker, shoveling the driveway, & so on...Anyway, that is why this basket was so important & stressful for me. Take a peek... I made it like a Backyard BBQ - Have a Large Tub that I put "COLD DRINKS" on it. Then I filled it with Plastic Cups, Plastic Plates, Plastic Bowls, Utensils. I don't know about you but it isn't a BBQ without Smores. So I added metal kabobs, Chocolate bars, marshmallows & graham crackers. Then I thought, you need to capture your memories so I decorated a plain black frame & added "Backyard Fun". I wrapped it in cellophane & added curly ribbon. I needed to do this asap otherwise the Chocolate didn't have a chance.

I am so excited! I don't really know why since this has NO effect on my day - it's just like any other day. I mean now I don't have any Free time since the girls will be home all day with me, I have to remove all the snow from the cars, I have to shovel the driveway & sidewalks, I have to play "hall monitor" with all the snow clothes & boots...UGH!!! what was I thinking!!!

WOW - 12 years. Sometimes that just blows my mind. I have actually been with my hubby for over 17 years...since I was 19. Oh my - now doesn't that blow your mind too! LOL! What was I thinking - 19 years old & engaged at 21 & married off at 24 (yeah, yeah, I know I gave away my age - it's just a number - for those who haven't got it yet - I'M 36 - anyway back to the story) never mind, I lost where I was going. 12 years, 1996 was a busy year!!!!- We've lived in our house for 12 years, our dog just turned 12, my hubby has been at his job for 12 years, I would have been at mine for 12 if I didn't resign (another story for another post) - well, for all who are still wondering, YES I am still happy & I am glad that I said yes, 15 years ago (I was engaged for 2 years). He is a wonderful man, a incredible father & my best friend. I love you!

my hubby is the most difficult person to buy for...but he sure does love his WAWA - so I got him a collect of gift cards. He enjoyed it!

My girls were invited to a Valentine's party yesterday & unlike a birthday party, I wasn't sure if they were suppose to bring something or not. When I called & RSVP'ed I asked if they needed anything but of course I got the "no, we are fine - can't wait to see you." So now what? Of course I got a BRILLANT idea at the last minute. What do you think?

I purchased a few tin buckets way back "hoping" they would come in handy - left over ribbon - whipped up a Valentine's Day tag card & tied to handle. Then added the best snack in the world...Pretzels with melted kissed & topped with an M&M - I think this is going to be a staple of mine now. So who wants to invite me over? Wink Wink! I think I am going to make a few of these for my 1st show this year at Rancocas. Oh, I forgot I have some left over in the garage refrig...mmmm, yummy! Think I am going to go "sneak" a few. Have a goodie!

a few baby congrats cards I was working on. You never know when these babies are going to decide to "POP OUT" so I decided it is better to get ready now. I am so not a procrastinator. I have to have things done as soon as they are given to me. When things hang around too long without being done (which believe me THIS RARELY HAPPENS) it drives ME insane. I can't handle the stress of an open project. However, I must admit, I don't crack under pressure. It's when everything is done & finish that I crack...now that doesn't make sense but it's the truth. I pull myself together long enough to get the task at hand done & then, well, you get the picture. I don't really need to give you a visual.

Also have been working on my little one's Valentine's gift. I was doing the Mailbox thingy for them & then I happen to see the most wonderful idea on Ali Edwards Blog ( http://aliedwards.typepad.com/_a_/2008/01/post.html ) - so cool. I downloaded her templates & then made my own fabric cover...blah, blah, blah. The girls are going to love these.

It's 1am in the morning. My little one just woke me up & told me her ear hurts. "what?" I don't know what to do...it's too late to call my sisters, so I do the next best thing...search the net. Although, I have this problem, when I get on the computer I seem to forget what I am suppose to be searching for. Some say AADD, I say it is an over-active interest to learn many things in a short time (you know, a fancy way to say "multi tasking") - hmmmm, now what was my point...oh yeah, I was tagged. I have my girls names tattooed on my neck - hubby not happy & shhh, I want another one.

I can not stand clutter, it drives me nuts.
I have NEVER broken a bone (knocking on wood).
I am addicted to wii. No seriously, sometimes when I don't have parental responsibilties to forfill, I race home to kick butt in wii. I crank up the music & PLAY...

Someone had just recently asked me this question & at first I really couldn't answer that question. However, now after having much time to think about it...NO! I wouldn't change a thing. I feel that I am truly blessed & fortunate for my life. I may not have indisposable income but I do have many things in my life that money can not buy. I don't believe a person can be measured by the amount of money he or she makes, what kind of car they drive, home they live in, brands they wear...but I do believe they can be measured on how they make a person feel. I have had many hardships in my life, all of which seem petty now but I wouldn't change ANY of them. For if I did, I wouldn't have become the person I am now. I've learned from those experiences & moved past them. I have forgiven the people I needed to forgive & I feel so much better now that I don't harbor any ill feelings towards people who once did me wrong. Although, the one thing that I wish I could change - that my Mom didn't die of cancer 3 1/2 years ago. Then I think if this didn't happen, what terrible thing would have taken it's place? I think of my Mom every single day, I ache for her, I need her however again, I was blessed. I had a Mom whom I loved with all my heart, I had a Mom that was ALWAYS there for me, I had a Mom that was my Best friend. There are many people I know that don't have this kind of relationship with their Mom so that is why I am blessed. I wouldn't change the life that she gave me, the values she taught me or the fact that she isn't on earth anymore. I believe my Mom is still with me (call me crazy, I've been called worse) & I will see her again. So my question for you - if you could change the past, would you?

I am always sending cards. I send them for birthdays, anniversaries, thinking about you, get well, I sense you are getting the picture. I have a note card that lists all the birthdays, anniversaries & holidays for each month. I try to keep on top of the card making process by mass producing a card & sending it out to all for the month. This is my "February" birthday card (notice no Hearts - don't like to mix holiday themes with birthdays). I have to get to work on my anniversary cards. I am making a special on for my hubby (12 years on Feb. 17). How do you keep on top of you card making responsibilities? drop me a line, I'd love to hear & maybe I could pick up a few tips.

Sorry I have been MIA for a few. Busy working (others would say I am playing) anyway!!!! I have a list of shows for this year. I will update the list as they are confirmed. So mark your calendars.

Oh I just love to play with paper. I got these Metal mailboxes & altered them for valentines day. Now I have to wait to fill them with chocolate (don't know about you but I can't have chocolate laying around the house - I'LL EAT IT!) Only two more to go. These are so much fun. The only problem is that when I am finished I look around the house & try to alter other things & it drives my hubby BATTY!!!!

Don't get me wrong, I LOVE MY GIRLS. I love my nieces & nephews. I am just not a baby person. I feel awful when people ask if I want to hold the baby & I say "no" - just being honest. Now when they are 4+ mos old...oh how I love them, I just can't get enough. My SIL just had a baby last month, my other SIL is due in June, my hubby's BF's wife is due March, another one of our friends is due in April...Baby's everywhere. Which means I get to make things for the babies. When I found out that I was prego (7 yrs ago that is), I started a journal so that I could remember things...It's pretty amazing all the things that i wrote down that if I didn't I wouldn't remember. I have one for kenz & one for Lane that I still write in to this day...I am not as dedicated as I once was but I do think I remember to write down the important things.

I love to scrapbook, I love photo albums - but what I don't like is the space that they take up. I have loads of pictures, I have numerous photo albums & then I have quite a few scrapbooks that are all over my craft room. I want to share my photos/scrapbooks/albums so when I learned how to make these little albums, I was so excited. They are just want I needed. I have them all over. These are actually my best sellers. They can be customize to any theme. I made one for my daughters preschool graduation, 1st day of school, Summer fun & my favorite, Locks of Love. The other night I went to a PTO meeting & came home to find my hubby all upset. Before I had a chance to say anything, he said "I'm sorry" - WHAT? What happened when I was gone for a total of 2 hours? Then he uttered those words "I was on the computer..." all I heard after that was BLAH, BLAH, BLAH. I love my hubby to death, I think that he is an amazing man, father & husband. HOWEVER, he should NOT BE ON THE COMPUTER. While he was on the computer he received a POP UP that said "your computer is infected with virus, click on icon to download" - of course he did (which in all honestly surprising me since I know he isn't naive) - computer froze, so he waited patiently for me to return (I think he was sweating it out that I was going to kill him - hee hee) I was relatively calm, tried to run a few programs, delete a few files, reboot, nothing. UGH!!!! He kept saying "we'll just get a new computer" - oh if it were that easy. Sure I would love a new computer but I love this one & it has all my information on it...where would I start? all over again obviously, nah that wasn't an option. So I told him that we would wait until morning & get my sister to fix it for us. The next morning, he called me at 7am asking if I talk to her yet -now I know that he is really worried since he knows that you can't call her until after 10am. Oddly enough, I get off the phone with him & it's her calling me...oh happy dance! I tell her my situation & she doesn't sound all that alarmed so I rest easy that this will be fixed. To make a long story short, I went over her house last night & in a matter of minutes - SHE FIXED MY COMPUTER (it was longer that than but it makes for a good story) - she is amazing (THANKS SIS) When I got home, I told hubby she couldn't do anything, he really did it this time. I told him that the virus will eat away our computer & take all of our personal information - it's real bad - I seen a few sweat beads form on his forehead, think I did enough damage - told him I was kidding. Moral of the story - "IT IS WHAT IT IS" keep things in perspective, this was only a computer that could be fixed & if it couldn't, well, it is replaceable.
