I can't tell if I like the 4th falling in the middle of the week or or not...It's a week long celebration. Party last weekend, party today, & a party this weekend...I enjoy a good party but it's not easy on the waistline, if you know what I am saying!
If you're like me, you try to always bring something with you to the party. Whether it may be a beverage, dip, dessert, it's something, right?
Well, what do you serve it in? Something you need back, something that has to be washed & returned to you...a HUGE pain the butt for the hostess, gotta keep track of who's is who's, who gets what...ehhhh, don't have to do it anymore!
Head to your local dollar store & pick up these...
Get out your vinyl, dust off your Cricut, & be creative!
I decided to keep it simple & cut various sized stars & Happy 4th for the serving spoons.
Add your food & presto, a great gift for your hostess!
I made my grandfather's Cucumber Salad. It's quick, easy & refreshing in the summer. Plus, I had a TON of cucumbers!
Well, I didn't think of everything (ha ha never do), I didn't have a lid so I improvised. I used Press N seal. I even made a little pocket for the serving spoons to sit. (Actually, that was an accident, the Press N seal wasn't large even so I had to use another piece which created this pocket)
I had extra little stars that I didn't use, so I put them on my fingernails...BRILLIANT! Now my nails are decorated too!
