Life is good....

I can't believe that over 2 months have passed since my last post. Things are going so well that I just haven't found the time...Facebook has kept me sooo busy!
Lets recap...500+ fans in less then 4 months...vendor/craft shows under way...started doing Home shows...I know it's crazy!!! But I'm loving every minute!!!!
Thank you to everyone who has supported me in this endeavor & cheered me on when I wasn't motivated...I've stepped outta my comfort zone & hot damn....what an amazing ride it's been this far!!! Cupcake Themed Slumber Party

The Theme was cupcakes & cupcakes they got.

Piazza's Bakery in Levittown, PA supplied us with plain cupcakes, pastry bags, & sprinkles.

Piazza's was so generous!  Best bakery in town by far...thank you very much!!!!

The girls went to town...they had so much fun & oh what a mess they made.

Happy Hearts Day 2013

I just wanted to take the time to wish everyone  a Happy Hearts Day!  

I apologize for not posting much but I am a little overwhelmed with the response that I have received from Facebook. 

 Lots of things are happening with Dingbats & Doodles...so excited!!!

A huge thank you  to everyone who has sent me a heartfelt message about my puppy & your concern for me.  I can't tell you how good it feels to get messages from people that have the same love for animals as I do.  Lee wasn't just a puppy...she was my baby, a member of my family & will be missed.

Saying Goodbye is so hard....

 I know I normally don't get into personal information on my blog however today I am.

I lost my most faithful friend on Saturday & boy, does it hurt.

My puppy, Lee, went to run with the angels.  

She was 17 years old.  My heart feels like it has been ripped apart.

I stamped her actual paw on paper with ink & had my daughters take numerous photos 

of her paw so that I could get her paw tattooed on my arm so I would

always have with me...

I saw this poem on Pinterest.....

Run with the angels, Lee...we loved you for your entire life

 now we will love & miss you for the rest of ours!

I can't believe it....Valentine's day is JUST around the corner....

Double Sided Signs

 I love these double sided signs.  It was actually my sister who started me with these. 

 I made one for her that said "It's 5 O'clock Somewhere" & on the other side "For every minute you are angry you waste 60 seconds of Happiness." 

 She has it on her window ...so if you are outside on the deck you see one side & if you are in the kitchen you see another side...depends on her mood which side you see.

I have this one in my Bathroom.  I keep it up all year long, during the winter months I flip it.

Double sided signs...whether it be a sign for the Holidays or a side based on your mood...it's a space saver & a change of decor with a flip of the sign...how clever!

Door Knob Hanging Sign

This sign was actually a special order however while I was making it an idea came to my head & I just had to make one for myself.

Do your children have messy rooms?  I personally don't care if they are messy or not, it's their space however what I do care about is when I do their laundry & it's all over the floor, not put away, don't know what is clean vs dirty...you get the picture.  That drives me crazy...that is where this sign will come in.

I will hang it on their door & if they see it they need to clean their room...once they are done they have to hand it back to me.   I will inspect to make sure they cleaned it & not stuffed it under their bed, piled it in their closets...They aren't happy about the new system but I am.  No more yelling or arguments, just put the door hanger on the knob & walk away.

Got so many ideas for these door hangers...chalkboard to leave messages, laundry decals so they know to pick up their laundry from the laundry room, list of chores that need to be done,  double sided...plan on seeing many more of these puppies!

I do believe that it takes a village to raise a child.  

There are so many factors & issues that arise in a child's life that they need a "village."  

Clearly the village, I am referring to, is the family unit, extended as well as the non blood related kind.  

That's why I adore these little shelf sitters.
